Here is the menu for this years Presentation Dinner Dance, to be held on Friday 16 May at Wellington Park, Leyland. The reason this is out earlier than usual is the early bird pricing on offer. If you pay before Sunday March 16th the ticket prices are only £20 for both adults and juniors, but if you pay after this date they will be £22.50 for juniors and £25 for seniors. If you are planning on going then I think this is a great price, so save yourself a fiver and get your orders in now!
All our dishes are homemade with locally sourced ingredients
Mushroom Melt (V)
Button mushrooms stuffed with breadcrumbs, garlic and mixed herbs then topped with Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Served with garlic bread.
Chicken Caesar Salad
Pan fried chicken and bacon served on a crisp garden salad sprinkled with garlic croutons and drizzled with Caesar dressing
Chicken Liver Brandy Pate
A smooth chicken liver pate infused with Brandy and served with homemade Cumberland sauce and a mixed leaf salad. Served with a rustic wedge of bread.
Leek & Potato (V)
Soup served with a fresh bread roll and butter
Traditional Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding
Slow roasted beef seasoned with cracked black pepper and sea salt and served with a tasty rich roasting gravy accompanied by a Yorkshire Pudding and creamy horse radish
A chicken fillet filled with goats cheese and thyme wrapped in bacon and served with a creamy white wine and thyme sauce
Red Pepper & Goats Cheese Tart (V)
Roasted red pepper in a short crust pastry case topped with creamy goats cheese and sprinkled with mixed herbs and finished with a drizzle of rich Italian sauce
Served with a citrus butter sauce
All main courses are served with a selection of vegetables
Raspberry & Vanilla Creme Brulee
Vanilla infused custard with fresh raspberries and a caramelised topping served with a tuille biscuit
Chocolate & Raspberry Pannacotta
Served with a scattering of fresh raspberries, vanilla ice cream and shredded mint

A selection local and continental cheeses served with assorted biscuits and decorated with grapes, strawberries and celery
