A good day was had by all with 8 couples competing on the day. Winners were Duncan Sorbie and Hannah Pallett, runners up Graham Forrest and Karolyn Hustler, third were Joe Steele and Steven Baylis. Well done to everyone that that turned up, and congratulations to the finalists.
This year is the 81st edition of our annual Boxing Day Tournament. It is taking place on Thursday the 27th of December. The fun and games will start at mid-day, and it will cost £5 which goes towards prizes, bacon butties and a bit of fundraising. If you are planning to take part please let me or Mark know directly. Handicaps will be worked out once all entries are in. Please let me or Mark know if you would like to take part. It is open to everyone, so feel free to bring any non-playing victims partners.
Congratulations to the D Team in winning their preliminary cup round last week, they will now go forward to the first round proper in January. No fixtures this week. Juniors on Monday and club night on Wednesday.

As there was such a great turn out at last years Boxing Day+1 tournament, we are planning to do the same again this year. So the date for your diary is Thursday the 27th of December 2018. This will be the 81st edition of this great tradition, and it would be great to see as many participants as last time.

We had a great turnout at the Boxing Day competition, loads of faces from past and present teams, and some juniors taking part. Winners on the day were Lizzie Balmforth and Phil Newsome, and runners up Seb Curry and Colin Marney, with Karolyn Hustler and Roger Darling taking 3rd.
