Belated New Year Greetings and Boxing Day Results

Better late than never, but a Happy New year to all, best wished for 2018.

We had a great turnout at the Boxing Day competition, loads of faces from past and present teams, and some juniors taking part. Winners on the day were Lizzie Balmforth and Phil Newsome, and runners up Seb Curry and Colin Marney, with Karolyn Hustler and Roger Darling taking 3rd.

Boxing Day (+1) Tournament – 80th Anniversary

This year is the 80th Anniversary of our annual Boxing Day Tournament, and to push the numbers up we have decided to run it on the day after Boxing day, Wednesday the 27th of December. The fun and games will start around mid-day, and it will cost £5 which goes towards prizes, bacon butties and a bit of fundraising. If you are planning to take part please let me or Mark know directly. Handicaps will be worked out once all entries are in. We are also planning to have a meal later in the evening, again please let me or Mark know if you would like to join on us.

News and Fixtures

Boxing Day Early Waning!!

In the league every team now has a win under their belt which is fantastic. Great start to the season. Club nights have been a bit of a battle with the A Team having so many home fixtures, but turnout has been good, and the A Team will have to reverse all those fixtures.
